Hibachi Steak |

NY Strip or Ribeye is perfect for Hibachi Steak. Try this quick recipe from my son and daughter-in-law. It makes enough for lunch leftovers. What could be better than that?

Salt and pepper both sides of steak. Add any of your favorite spices.

For best results, heat your cast iron skillet in the oven on 500 degrees.
- Remove skillet from the oven and put on the stove at medium high heat.
- Add a thin layer of oil to the pan. Add steak.
- Drizzle soy sauce on steak. Sear each side for 30 seconds.
- Reduce heat to medium. Turn steak every 2 minutes until desired doneness. (Medium rare takes about 3 to 4 minutes each side)
